Cyclists are already successfully combining their hikes with wine tastings among vineyards, mountains, beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Here is how within a few hours you can visit two wine cellars in the Struma Valley – Rupel and Orbelus, and the road between them can be cycled.

The starting point is the Rupel winery, where we rent bicycles and equip cyclists with a tourist backpack loaded with food and water, and maybe with a bottle of chilled aromatic wine. We direct them along a bike path, which is improved and marked in both directions, so that the route is absolutely accessible to everyone, without the risk of getting lost.

On the route you can see interesting types of flowers and herbs, rare birds, over 50 year old vineyards. More distant views in the surroundings are observed through binoculars. It is possible to meet wild animals.

In the middle of the route it is obligatory to stop for rest, especially during the hot summer days. Under a fig tree in the shade there is a relaxation area and a supportive breakfast.

The direction is a bio-winery Orbelus near the village of Kromidovo, where a wine tasting is planned from the terrace of the cellar-barrel, with a beautiful view of the vineyards. There is a rest and enjoyment of the wines of the cellar.

Loaded with new strength, the participants in the cycling tour take a direction back to Rupel winery. They may be a little pleasantly tired, but they should not give up, because there awaits them a new portion of tasting with delicious appetizers and beautiful views.
